Support a mission that changes lives.MacKenzie King are partnering with a charity to recruit an Interim Finance Manager for an initial term of 2 months.Working closely with the Director of Finance you will bring expertise across budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial analysis.This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled finance professional who thrives on responsibility, enjoys improving systems, and wants their work to have purpose and impact.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and ReportingLead the production of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysisOversee the annual budgeting process and support budget holders across the charityEnsure accurate, timely preparation of statutory accounts in line with Charity SORP (FRS 102)Manage the annual audit and liaise with external auditorsMaintain strong financial controls, policies, and proceduresBudgeting and PlanningMonitor performance against budget, highlighting risks and opportunitiesDevelop financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysisGovernance and ComplianceEnsure compliance with Charity SORP, VAT and tax requirements, and other regulatory obligationsProvide high-quality insight and reporting to the Finance and Audit Sub-Committee and Board of TrusteesStay up to date with changes in accounting standards and charity finance regulationSystems and ProcessesOversee payroll checks, pensions, and expensesManage
