SMT Operator Electronics Manufacturing We are currently seeking an assembler to produce products in accordance with defined build instructions for a variety of major OEMs in market sectors including Automotive, Clean Energy, Communication and Broadcasting, Consumer, Defence and Aerospace, Homeland Security, IP Development Platforms, Medical, Scientific Research and Space. SMT Operator - Key Responsibilities: Assemble products to IPC-A-610 standards and build instructionsOperate SMT line to produce populated PCB assemblies to required quality and timescalesPrepare stencils and printing equipmentPerform in-line inspection for quality and consistencyDocument any deviations from standard before starting workEnsure processes are robust, clear, and consistently followedMaintain high-quality standards and notify supervision of any issues affecting build times SMT Operator - Skills and Experience: Experience operating Pick and Place SMT machinesPre-kitting for SMT machinesProgramming and operating stencil printersProficiency in load placement programming and set value checks (Europlacer experience is a plus)Ability to create/adjust component package checks (Europlacer experience is a plus)Maintenance of SMT line equipmentOperation and maintenance of TSM and Heller ovensSolder paste controlHandling moisture-sensitive componentsIPC-A-610 certification What s on Offer: Competitive salary25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeFree on-site parkingBUPA healthcare (post-
