Security Controller 90k We re looking for an experienced Security Controller to lead our client s protective-security function, working directly with senior leadership to support business growth, unlock new opportunities and ensure security never becomes a barrier to delivery. The Role You ll take ownership of personnel security, Government security compliance, physical protection and classified information, acting as the organisation s principal authority on protective security. Your responsibilities will include: Security governance: Own the security framework, policies, risk register and protective-security controls. Government compliance: Maintain Facility Security Clearance (FSC) and ensure compliance with GovS 007, IPSA and relevant Government requirements. Personnel vetting: Oversee BPSS, SC and DV processes, including UKSV sponsorship, renewals and aftercare. Business growth: Work with HR, Recruitment and programme teams to align clearance requirements with hiring, mobilisation and new opportunities. Physical and classified security: Safeguard sites, people, sensitive assets and classified information. Assurance and inspections: Lead preparations for Government inspections, customer audits and security assurance activities. Senior stakeholder engagement: Advise on security risks, challenge decisions where necessary and drive continuous improvement.
