Our client, a fast growing asset manager is looking to hire an experienced Credit Analyst/Portfolio Manager to help manage Sustainable Bond funds.Key responsibilities:Analysis of new credit issuers for inclusion in the investment universe, incorporating ESG/sustainability factors into investment decisionsPerform fundamental credit analysis of sectors and countries to identify key risks from a financial perspectiveMeet with company management, ratings agencies and brokers to discuss industry trendsAssessing rating agency reports and industry trends to form an investment opinion on companies within the portfolioActively contribute to regular investment team teams and provide regular updates on results from individual issuers in the investment universePreferred candidate will have:Minimum 7 years experience in credit analysisExperience in analysing a wide range of issuers in both corporates and local government institutionsAn understanding of how ESG factors impact upon credit analysis and the ability to integrate emerging trends into the investment processA passion for green bond investingStrong written and verbal communication skillsMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
