Prospero Teaching are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across Enfield, Islington, and Southgate in North London. This flexible supply position is suitable for those with school-based experience, recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover supervisors. Contract Details Location: Enfield, Southgate, Islington Position: Cover Supervisor Type of Work: Secondary Cover Supervision Start Date: ASAP Duration: Daily supply (with potential for longer-term roles) Contract Type: Temporary Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm (full day) Full-time/Part-time: Flexible, depending on school needs Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP95 per day Responsibilities Maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring students stay on task. Supervising students as they complete pre-set work left by the teacher and ensuring planned lessons are followed. Assisting students with questions or difficulties and ensuring everyone understands the tasks. Enforcing school policies regarding student behaviour and dealing with any issues that arise. Recording attendance and documenting any noteworthy incidents during lessons. Experience, Training and Qualifications Needed Previous experience working with young people in a school setting.
