We are looking for a talented and driven salesperson to account manage a portfolio of export customers. You ll be part of a team selling our extensive range of engineered components and fasteners into a wide range of markets including automotive, furniture and industrial. To succeed in this role you ll need to have proven experience selling into export markets with a sound understanding of export processes (EUR1/COO/Incoterms). You ll also be super organised, great on the phone and a real team player. This position is permanent, full-time with an immediate start. Key responsibilities: Customer Enquiries Responding to B2B customer enquiries via email, phone and website Providing timely product advice, samples, quotations and follow-ups as needed Preparing quotations and resolving pricing issues Updating CRM system Account Management Proactive customer contact to build and maintain relationships Grow sales profitably with existing accounts up-selling and cross-selling Accountability for the profitability, product mix and growth of own customer portfolio Business Development Identifying new business opportunities (from market research or internally generated leads) Carrying out research Making contact with potential customers to pitch for new business, securing new deals Following up to ensure repeat business Our ideal candidate s experience and skill set will include: At least three years office based sales experience Knowledge of export processes (EUR1, COO and Incoterms) G
