Contract Assembly Technician – 4-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) or £20.00 per hour (via Umbrella company)

We are currently seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team in Wokingham on a 4-month contract basis. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with a strong background in soldering, PCB assembly, and control systems, looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality soldering and PCB assembly

• Build and wire electrical cabinets and enclosures

• Assemble and install control systems and low voltage electrical systems

• Interpret and work from system diagrams, schematics, and wiring schedules

• Conduct quality reviews of technical drawings and provide feedback

• Perform functional testing and ensure systems meet quality standards

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues

Requirements:

• Proven experience in:

  • Soldering and PCB assembly

  • Cabinet/enclosure builds

  • Wiring and control systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Right to work in the UK (essential)
