You''ll play a key role in delivering successful outcomes for a diverse client base, including developers, landowners, local authorities, and institutional investors. You''ll manage your own caseload of projects, support senior colleagues on large-scale applications, and contribute to business development activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications and appeals.

• Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy analysis.

• Providing strategic planning advice to clients across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.

• Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and design teams.

• Supporting and mentoring junior planners.

You''ll be MRTPI qualified (or working towards it) with a proven track record in consultancy or local authority planning. You''ll bring excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills, along with a genuine enthusiasm for shaping sustainable and deliverable development.

Essential skills and experience:

• MRTPI qualified (or eligible for chartership).

• Solid understanding of the UK planning system and current policy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience managing planning applications and appeals.

• Proactive, organised, and commercially minded.
