Paralegal 6 MonthContract Dunton, Essex Position Description: Our Client seeks a Legal Assistant to join the Legal Office in Dunton, Essex. Work collaboratively with members of the Clients Legal Office and business teams to assist with consumer complaints and litigation, conduct legal research, provide support to the Company Secretary and deliver other key support for the Legal team. Support customer complaints, litigation and regulatory projects as required. Support monitoring for compliance with laws, regulations, guidance issued by relevant regulatory bodies, and Company policy. Assist the Legal team with and perform legal research and analysis. Assist with onboarding and processing invoices from external counsel and litigation reporting. Support the Company Secretary with Board packs, meeting minutes and other tasks as required. Skills Required: Ability to work under pressure against deadlines and deliver results Attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset Strong organisational and administration skills, and proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately Effective communication skills to apply with directors, non-executive directors, senior management and employees in various departments (Accounting, Compliance, Operations, etc) Previous experience supporting a Company Secretary, corporate governance function, Board of Directors or Board Committees is desirable.
