Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative Location: Southampton and surrounding areas Salary: 39,000 per annum + package About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to join a well-established maintenance and property services contractor in the Southampton area. This is a permanent opportunity working across a varied portfolio of social housing properties and educational facilities, including schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry, repairs and general multi-trade maintenance, ensuring properties and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Carry out carpentry repairs, replacements and installations, including doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves and general joinery. Complete general multi-trade maintenance and repairs across social housing properties and school buildings. Undertake first and second-fix carpentry, kitchen repairs and associated refurbishment works. Carry out additional trade-related tasks where competent, including basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, aiming to achieve a high first-time fix rate. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
