We are working with a leading defence organisation who arelooking to recruit a Functional Systems Engineer to join theirgrowing team in Bristol. This role will focus on requirementsmanagement, working with customers to understand their needs andtranslating them into technical requirements to support thedevelopment of complex defence systems. Typical responsibilities include: Working with customers to understand their needs and translatethem into clear technical requirements Deriving system, subsystem and software requirements to supportproduct development Contributing to product line approaches that allow commonproducts to meet different customer requirements Developing and managing processes for controlled engineeringchange Supporting system development activities and acting as thecustomer representative for specific software items The ideal candidate will have: Experience in requirements management and derivation, ideallywithin the defence sector Experience using systems engineering tools such as DOORS, DOORSNG or Rhapsody Experience managing engineering change and supporting systemdevelopment activities The ability to communicate technical information and systemarchitectures clearly to customers and stakeholders Strong stakeholder management skills, with experiencedeveloping complex systems and undertaking trade studies This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includesbut is not limited to: Company bonus scheme, based on company performance Strong ..... full job details .....
