Housing OfficerExeter 22.00 UmbrellaFull time, TemporaryHybrid - 40% office, 60% home workingWe are currently recruiting for a Social housing organisation based in Exeter who are looking for an Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.Responsibilities of the Allocations Officer include:Build and maintain proactive, positive relationships with tenants and other customers.Deliver a comprehensive, high-performing housing management service to Council tenants and residents in temporary accommodation, including addressing and resolving anti-social behaviour.Understand, anticipate, and meet legitimate customer demand within agreed budgets.Coordinate the effective use and management of temporary accommodation and properties managed through the Council''s Social Lettings Agency.Carry out regular inspections of Council properties and neighbourhoods within a defined area, ensuring a thorough understanding of customer needs and Council assets, and taking appropriate action to address any issues identified.Support the Service Lead Housing Customers and Housing Customer Lead in the continuous development and improvement of housing services.The successful candidate will have:A qualification to HNC level in a relevant discipline or substantial proven relevant experience.
