Ground Worker Location: Sandwell Salary: Up to £31,000 depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are recruiting on behalf of an established property services contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishments and voids services across the housing sector. Our client is looking for an experienced Ground Worker to join their team, covering Sandwell and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role focused on external works across residential properties, helping to maintain safe, functional and well-presented homes and external areas. Key Responsibilities Carry out external fencing repairs and replacement works. Install, repair and replace gates and associated external structures. Complete flagging and paving repairs to paths and external areas. Carry out pointing and minor brickwork repairs where required. Complete external maintenance works to communal and residential properties. Diagnose defects and carry out effective repairs to a high standard. Maintain safe and tidy working areas throughout each job. Use PDA and mobile technology to record and update work orders accurately. Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team. Ensure all work meets required safety, quality and customer service standards.
