This Community Support worker role will be office based and working with individuals and families who are referred to them via local councils and housing associations. This role is working in a small team delivering one-to-one intervention appointments and creating agreed support plan for individuals and families who have experienced homelessness, or who have recently been rehoused. These will be low-income families who need support to ensure that they are drawing down all applicable benefits, that they are accessing financial support for loans and debts, and that they are receiving other support and interventions they need. This role will ensure that any health, wellbeing, risk and safeguarding support needs are identified, and signposted to relevant agencies and organisations to improve their family wellbeing.
