Due to sustained growth and a strong order book, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.The RoleYou will take full commercial responsibility for multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with project teams and senior management to ensure successful financial delivery.Key responsibilities include:Full commercial management of projects, including cost control, forecasting and reportingProcurement of subcontract packages and negotiation of termsManaging valuations, variations, payments and final accountsWorking closely with site teams to manage risk and maximise valueClient-facing responsibilities, maintaining strong stakeholder relationshipsSupporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where requiredRequirementsMinimum 8 years'' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a proven track record of stability and progression within established construction businesses.Strong understanding of contractual and commercial processesAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyConfident communicator with a proactive and solutions-driven approachBased in or commutable to EssexWhat''s on OfferCompetitive salary between 60,000 - 80,000, depending on experienceStr
