Care Home Manager (Nursing)
About the role As our Care Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home. As a regulated business, we expect the candidate to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and be familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to our residents, whilst meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy. You will be supported externally by dedicated Operations and Central teams, and within the home you will have the support of a Deputy Manager and Administrator, as well as Hospitality and Housekeeping teams. These teams will collaborate with you to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for our residents. Reports to: Operations Manager Key duties and responsibilities • Provide leadership and direction to the home s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.• Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.• Manage the home s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
