Area Sales Manager – Pumps & Water Solutions
Midlands & Anglia Region (Field Based)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Company Car + Benefits
ATA Recruitmentare recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing supplier of pumps, water engineering products and fluid handling solutions. Backed by a successful international group, the business has built an excellent reputation for technical expertise, customer service and innovative water solutions across the UK market.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Area Sales Manager to help drive growth across the Midlands and Anglia region, managing existing accounts whilst identifying and developing new business opportunities.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales across a portfolio of merchants, M&E contractors, industrial customers and engineering businesses.
You will work closely with customers to understand their applications, provide technical guidance and deliver solutions that add genuine value.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an established customer base across the region
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Deliver sales and margin targets
- Build strong relationships with merchants, contractors and industrial customers
- Influence project specifications and promote technical solutions
- Conduct customer visits, presentations and product demonstrations
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal technical and customer service teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reports
About You
We''re looking for a motivated and consultative sales professional who enjoys building relationships and solving customer challenges.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B field sales
- Strong account management and business development skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Experience managing a geographical sales territory
- Self-motivated and organised approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Experience
Experience selling any of the following would be highly advantageous:
- Pumps
- Water treatment solutions
- Fluid handling equipment
- Building services products
- HVAC systems
- Industrial engineering products
- Valves, pipelines or related mechanical equipment
Candidates from technical engineering, industrial distribution or specification sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
