Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Director to lead their finance function. This part-time role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions. Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow forecastingMaintain compliance with tax, payroll, and regulatory requirementsOversee payroll, HR compliance, and company taxation (including MTD)Manage credit control and working capitalMaintain and improve finance systems and back-office processesAdvise directors on financial planning, compliance, and riskLiaise with auditors, banks, and external advisors Skills and Experience ideally required Proven financial leadership in an SME environmentStrong knowledge of payroll, tax (including MTD), and complianceExperience with credit control and cashflow managementComfortable with finance systems and IT toolsCommercially minded with strong business acumenHigh attention to detail and integrity in financial reporting
