Fire Door Engineer Required

ProGroup Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Fire Door Engineers to join a growing team delivering high-quality fire door installation and remediation works across a range of residential and commercial environments.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with an established contractor delivering essential fire safety projects across social housing and commercial sectors.

The Role

You''ll be responsible for carrying out the installation, maintenance and remediation of fire doors, ensuring all works are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation of fire door sets
• Fire door remediation and upgrade works
• Working on flat entrance doors and communal fire doors
• Completing digital reports using systems such as One Trace and Bolster Systems
• Ensuring all work meets the required quality and compliance standards
• Maintaining a professional approach when working within occupied buildings

Projects

You''ll be working across a variety of live environments, including:

• Social housing
• Student accommodation
• Care homes
• Hospitals
• Commercial properties

What We''re Looking For

• Proven experience carrying out fire door installation and remediation works
• Good understanding of fire door compliance and industry best practice
• Experience working within occupied residential and commercial properties
• Comfortable using digital reporting systems such as One Trace and Bolster Systems (or similar)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A vehicle suitable for transporting materials is advantageous, but not essential
