Art Teacher

TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a secondary school based in Walsall seeking a full time Art Teacher to begin with them in September 2025. This is a temp to perm position and can involve some SLT responsibilities for the right person if they wanted to stay on with the school.The experienced Art Teacher will require:To deliver engaging lessons to the children in key stage 3 and 4Previous Art teaching experience is desireable ECT''s are welcome to apply and unqualified Art Teachers - MUST HAVE UK TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN SCHOOLSProvide support to children during classroom activities, ensuring they are engaged and participating fullyWork closely with the classroom TA/support Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environmentMaintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulationsAssist in assessing children''s progress and reporting any concerns to the lead teacher.SkillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and adults alikeExperience working within education, QTS is desiredAbility to educate and inspire young learners through creative teaching methodsFamiliarity with special education practices and strategies for working with children who have diverse learning needs within mainstream environmentsPrevious experience working with children in various settings is advantageousPatience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping
