Job Description Setting and operating 4 and 5 axis machining centres.Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.Understand Mazak CNC controls and offer improvement ideas to the role.Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines and rules.Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in HandS improvements and kaizen initiatives. Essential Criteria Have an understanding of milling/machining centre machines.Have experience and can safely set and operate automated CNC loaded machine tools.Have experience with cutting tools, fixtures and measuring equipment.Have a can-do attitude.Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment. Desirable Criteria Can edit and alter programs,Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
