One of the UK's leading Local Authorities and Social Housing Providers require a Building Surveyor - Damp, Mould & Disrepair to provide excellent customer service to residents and customers in a varied and interesting portfolio of domestic properties in Oxfordshire.
This role would ideally suit someone from a Trades or Surveying background who has experience in identifying and rectifying damp & mould.
To apply for the role of Building Surveyor - Damp, Mould & Disrepair in Oxfordshire you should have experience of Stock Condition Surveys as well as diagnosing Damp & Mould, plus good people skills to deal with customers in an empathetic and courteous manner in order to deliver a first class service for residents.
The primary duties of the Building Surveyor - Damp, Mould & Disrepair in Oxfordshire include:
- To provide a comprehensive Surveying service including Stock Condition, Damp & Mould works, specification and management of works including pre and post inspections via the repairs contractor.
- Excellent Customer Service skills to enhance the clients reputation and deliver a first class service.
- Acting as the client when managing the repairs contractor, ensuring a high level in delivery of works whilst monitoring their performance.
- Liaising with customers and residents to keep them abreast and updated on works, liaising with residents as required.
The successful candidate for the role of Building Surveyor - Damp, Mould & Disrepair in Oxfordshire should have the following experience:
- Experience with an in depth knowledge of diagnosing and rectifying Damp & Mould.
- The ability to deliver specifications in writing.
- Contractor management experience, acting as the Client.
- The ability to assess the condition of domestic stock.
- Great communication skills when dealing with residents and customers in order to deliver successful projects on target.
