Title: Residential Property Fee Earner (Conveyancer) Hours of Work: Full time Location: Congleton or Stockport Purpose of the Role This role involves managing the full conveyancing process from instruction through to completion, working independently and efficiently to deliver a high standard of client service. The successful candidate will play an active role in supporting the growth and development of the department in line with the firm s wider business objectives. Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive) Handle residential conveyancing matters from start to finish with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Generate fee income and maintain control of time recording, work in progress, billing, and cash collection in line with agreed targets. Take an active role in business development and client relationship management to promote the firm s services. Provide supervision and support to colleagues when required, including during periods of absence or annual leave. Attend and contribute to departmental and firm-wide meetings. Deliver an exceptional level of client care, maintaining a professional and approachable manner at all times. Manage all correspondence and documentation through the case management system. Ensure proper file management in both paper and electronic formats, including file opening, maintenance, and closure in line with internal procedures. Assist in marketing and networking activiti
