vandnbsp; Deliveringandnbsp;differentiated,andnbsp;multi-sensory, andandnbsp;individualised learning plansandnbsp;tailored to pupils with a range ofandnbsp;SEND profiles
vandnbsp; Creating aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;structured, andandnbsp;inclusive classroom environmentandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;emotional regulation,andnbsp;positive behaviour, andandnbsp;self-esteem
vandnbsp; Working collaboratively withandnbsp;Teaching Assistants,andnbsp;therapists, andandnbsp;external agenciesandnbsp;to provide a holistic approach to learning and development
vandnbsp; Usingandnbsp;EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)andnbsp;to inform planning, assessment, and progress tracking
vandnbsp; Contributing to the wider school community throughandnbsp;team collaboration,andnbsp;CPD opportunities, andandnbsp;family engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
vandnbsp; Have experience in SEN education (desirable but not essential)
vandnbsp; Be confident in usingandnbsp;adaptive teaching strategies,andnbsp;visual supports, andandnbsp;assistive technologyandnbsp;to meet diverse learning needs.
vandnbsp; Demonstrate strong knowledge ofandnbsp;SEND Code of Practiceandnbsp;andandnbsp;inclusive pedagogy.
vandnbsp; Be patient, empathetic, and skilled inandnbsp;behaviour managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;trauma-informed practice.
vandnbsp; Hold a currentandnbsp;enhanced DBS certificateandnbsp;or be willing to obtain one
