Site Manager – Rainham, Essex – Enhanced DBS Required

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager for an immediate start on a 5-week school refurbishment project in Rainham, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team delivering refurbishment works within a live educational environment. Previous experience working on schools or other occupied buildings is highly desirable.

Project Details

• 5-week duration
• 3 toilet refurbishments
• Asbestos removal
• White Rock wall cladding installation
• M&E works
• Ceiling installation and replacement

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (ESSENTIAL – must already be held)
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects
• Experience managing live or occupied sites is desirable
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and deliver works safely, on programme and to a high standard

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the site
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
• Manage programme and site progress
• Liaise with the client, subcontractors and project team
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and housekeeping throughout the project

Start Date: Immediate

Rate: Competitive, depending on experience
