This role offers the opportunity to support continuous improvement, quality assurance and project delivery within a service area that plays a vital role in safeguarding public health and ensuring regulatory compliance.Your new roleThis is a 12-month temporary contract with the potential for extension, based in Aston, Birmingham, with a hybrid working arrangement. Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, you will lead on the development, implementation and maintenance of quality, compliance and project management processes across the Environmental Health team. You will coordinate and oversee a range of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within agreed objectives and in line with quality and safety standards.The role will involve conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments, monitoring compliance with legislation, regulations and best practice, and supporting managers to maintain high service standards.
