Sheridan Maine is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join a well-established accounting firm in North London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a varied client portfolio and further develop your skills in accounts preparation and client management.

Key responsibilities.

- Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Manage bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of client financial records.
- Handle VAT returns and other compliance-related tasks.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and provide excellent service.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reports.
- Supervise and support junior members of staff.

- Ensure deadlines are met and work complies with accounting standards.

What we’re looking for.

- Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
- Proven experience preparing accounts and managing client relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and software.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
