About the role We''re looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Avonmouth team, delivering and collecting plant hire equipment to customers across the South West. You''ll be the face of our business, providing a safe and reliable service to construction sites, builders, and contractors. What you''ll do: Safely load, secure, and deliver a range of plant hire equipment (excavators, dumpers, rollers and Telehandlers) Carry out vehicle checks and keep accurate delivery paperwork Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points Work locally/regionally - no long-haul, you''ll be home every night What we''re looking for: Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience in plant hire / builders'' merchants / equipment delivery (preferred but not essential - training provided) A positive, customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn What''s in it for you: Competitive salary+ overtime opportunities Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday overtime paid at time and a half) Full training on plant loading and securing equipment Modern, well-maintained vehicles and kit Career progression and ongoing CPC trainingIf you''re a Class 2 driver who wants steady local work, great kit, and a supportive team, we''d love to hear from you!
