Night Support WorkerColchester Full-Time 4pm to 9am 7-Day Rota On-SiteCaritas Futures is recruiting for a Night Support Worker to join a specialist supported accommodation service in Colchester, supporting individuals affected by homelessness, domestic abuse, modern slavery, human trafficking, housing-related issues, and other complex needs.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in housing, homelessness, domestic abuse, hostels, supported living, mental health, substance misuse, or other vulnerable services.Key Responsibilities:Provide overnight support, welfare checks, and safeguarding intervention where requiredDeliver one-to-one support sessions tailored to individual needsComplete and review risk assessments and support plansAssist with PIP applications, benefits, housing matters, and accessing external servicesRespond to incidents, emergencies, and safeguarding concerns appropriatelyLiaise with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and partner agenciesManage referrals, appointments, case records, and shift handoversPromote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for residentsRequirements:Experience supporting vulnerable adults within homelessness, housing, domestic abuse, modern slavery, trafficking, mental health, or related servicesStrong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and professional boundariesAbility to manage changing priorities and levels of need throughout a shiftConfident working independently and responding ..... full job details .....
