HGV Driver (Environmental)

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently to transport waste materials and environmental products across designated routes.
• Able to help with groundworks/civils
• High pressure jetting
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including tachograph and driver hours legislation.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading of waste materials, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Promote environmentally responsible driving practices to minimise carbon footprint.

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with a clean driving record.
• Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) certification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in environmental or waste management transportation is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK road regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
