Are you an experienced HLTA looking to take on more responsibility in a Barnet primary school? With your skills in leading lessons, supporting teachers and working with a wide range of learners, you could make a significant impact from day one.

Tradewind Recruitment is placing Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) in primary schools across Barnet on an ongoing basis. These are varied and rewarding roles for experienced practitioners ready to work at the next level.

As an HLTA, you will cover planned teacher absence, lead lessons across a range of subjects, deliver targeted group interventions and support curriculum delivery under the direction of the class teacher and senior leadership.

You will use your strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills to maintain high expectations and progress, adapt resources for different learners and contribute meaningfully to pupil assessment and feedback.

• HLTA status - essential
• Substantial primary classroom experience in a TA or HLTA role
• Confidence leading and covering whole-class lessons across core subjects
• Strong subject knowledge in English and mathematics at primary level
• Experience delivering group interventions and supporting pupils with SEND
• Excellent communication and professional standards
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge
