Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a Quality Engineer for a manufacturing business looking to strengthen its quality systems and drive improvements across its UK operation.Reporting to the Quality Manager, you ll take responsibility for the internal audit programme and play a key part in maintaining and developing the company s Business Management System. This opportunity would suit someone with a strong Quality Assurance or Quality Systems background who enjoys working independently, challenging processes constructively and seeing improvements through.You ll work with colleagues across Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing and Quality Control to ensure processes meet business, customer and certification requirements.Your responsibilities will include: Planning and leading the internal audit programme, from scheduling and conducting audits to reporting findings and verifying corrective actions.Reviewing and improving the Business Management System, procedures and supporting documentation against ISO 9001, AS9100, API Q1 and applicable customer requirements.Supporting external certification and customer audits, including preparation and follow-up.Investigating customer complaints and internal non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing actions to prevent recurrence.Reviewing quality performance and helping teams reduce recurring issues and the cost of poor quality.Preparing and checking quality documentation, including manufacturing records, ..... full job details .....
