Own VAN that can carry x2 doors 

08:00 - 16:00 - Monday - Friday 

Responsibilities

• Install fire doors in accordance with manufacturer specifications, schematics, and building codes
• Measure and mark door openings for precise fitting
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble components
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and regulations
• Conduct inspections of completed work to verify proper operation and security
• Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, masonry, or construction painting teams as needed
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment during each project phase
• Troubleshoot any issues related to door fitting or hardware during installation
• Assist in fabricating custom components when necessary for specific projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, fabrication, or masonry is highly desirable
• NVQ L2 or equivalent
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in installation work
• Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings related to fire door systems
• Ability to read technical instructions and follow safety protocols diligently
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Physical fitness to handle lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces
• Relevant construction certifications or qualifications are preferred but not mandatory
