Aftersales Specialist Consultant Workshop Efficiency Company: DEKRA Automotive Ltd Employment type: Full-time employment Location: Home-based, with coverage from the Midlands to South England (frequent travel and overnight stays required) About the role DEKRA Automotive Ltd is recruiting an experienced Aftersales Specialist Consultant to deliver a workshop efficiency improvement programme across an automotive NSC Retailer network. The role focuses on improving workshop profitability by strengthening resource utilisation, operational efficiency and service activity, with clear, measurable outcomes. You will be one of two consultants covering the UK, with your delivery footprint focused on the Midlands to the South of England. What you will be doing You will work directly with Retailer leadership and aftersales teams to diagnose performance, agree improvement actions, and support delivery. Key activities include: • Completing a structured Retailer diagnostic using defined questions and evidence gathering. • Producing clear diagnostic summaries and an evidence-based gap analysis for management review. • Agreeing priority actions with Retailer leadership and building practical, Retailer-specific action plans. • Supporting operational improvements across booking, workshop control, preparation, and customer handover/collection processes. • Providing targeted support to Retailers, adapting the support path based on diagnostic findings. • Tracking progress against agreed measure
