Salesforce Technical Architect As Salesforce Technical Architect, you will provide technical leadership across the Salesforce ecosystem, reviewing and enhancing the current architecture while ensuring the platform remains stable, scalable, maintainable, and fit for future growth. You will evaluate existing custom Apex code, Lightning Components, Flows, integrations, and platform configurations to identify architectural weaknesses, technical debt, and opportunities for optimisation. Working closely with development and business teams, you will determine what should be retained, standardised, refactored, or retired, creating a pragmatic target-state architecture and phased improvement plan. The role will also focus on improving software engineering practices, including source control, environments, release management, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes. A key objective is to enable smaller, safer, and more predictable releases whilst maintaining platform reliability and supporting ongoing business delivery. This is not a purely strategic architecture position.
