JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Hinckley to recruit a skilled CNC Turner - Setter, Operator (Sliding Head), 

You’ll be working on Star Sliding Heads (SR32, SB20), producing small batch work across a variety of materials including 13-8, 17-4, Titanium, 304 and S99 (no brass/copper).

The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator (Sliding Head) - Package:

• Total Salary - £34,000 – £38,650 per annum

• £16.00 – £17.00 per hour (DOE) + £80 per week shift premium

• Rotating shifts: Mon–Thu: 6am–2.30pm, Fri: 6am–1.30pm & Mon–Thu: 2pm–10.30pm, Fri: 11.30am–7pm

• 26 days holiday + bank holidays

• Sick pay scheme (after 6 months)

• Statutory pension

The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator (Sliding Head) - Requirements:

• Experienced Sliding Head Setter / Operator / Programmer (Star or Citizen)

• Strong knowledge of Star machines (SR32, SB20) preferred

• Must have programming ability (ideally to a solid level)

• Able to work with a range of materials (steel, titanium, high-grade alloys)

• Capable of setting, operating and maintaining machines to achieve high standards

• Not a trainee role – must have existing skills and experience
