Resident Liaison Officer

Location: Barnet

Rate: £23ph

Contract: Temporary, 3-6 months

Start: Immediate

Fortus Recruitment are currently working with a well-established organisation who are looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a temporary basis in Barnet.

The role will support a gas repairs programme, acting as a key point of contact for residents and working closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure works are communicated and delivered smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout gas repair works
• Keeping residents informed of appointments, timescales and progress
• Arranging access and appointments with residents
• Dealing with resident queries, concerns and complaints
• Liaising closely with gas contractors, operatives and internal teams
• Carrying out resident visits where required
• Supporting vulnerable residents and ensuring their needs are considered
• Managing access issues, cancellations and rebooking
• Maintaining accurate resident records and updating systems
• Escalating issues and ensuring concerns are dealt with promptly
• Supporting the smooth delivery of the gas repairs programme

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer
• Experience within social housing, repairs, maintenance or construction
• Gas repairs or responsive repairs experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Confident dealing with residents, contractors and site teams
• Experience handling complaints and difficult situations
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Professional, approachable and proactive manner
