This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping pupils develop their communication, language, and social interaction skills, enabling them to access learning and achieve their full potential. Day-to-Day of the Role: Assess pupils'' speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs where appropriate. Develop and implement individualised speech and language therapy programmes and interventions. Support pupils in developing expressive and receptive language, social communication, speech clarity, and functional communication skills. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes. Provide guidance and training to staff on communication strategies, interventions, and classroom adaptations. Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate clinical records, reports, and therapy plans. Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews where required.
