Currently seeking a Lead Project Engineer based in Wales - To provide guidance and ensure standards are being followed in accordance with the requirements of the business goals, objectives and AS9100 accreditation. This role involves leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team, providing technical guidance, and supporting the professional development of team members to drive continuous improvement and project success. Responsibilities: Responsible for the managing a team of engineers focussing and on time delivery, quality and accuracy of work packages from Chief Engineer, supporting the business in achieving site KPIs. Assist the allocation of tasks and projects with the team as a whole, according to skills and product types, balancing this with the capacity of the department, taking into account holidays / sickness and providing opportunity for cross-fertilisation of process and product knowledge. Leads the development of new processes, RandD, improvement projects. Responsible for specification or the support self-funded design projects (CAPEX).
