Accounts Assistant
Location: Cradley Heath - Office Based
Salary:  £28,000 - £35,000
Permanent: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a varied role within a successful and growing construction business?

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the day-to-day finance function, taking ownership of key accounting activities and ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase and sales ledger management
• Credit control and customer account management
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• PAYE reconciliations
• Processing payroll and CIS payments
• Assisting with month-end activities
• General accounts administration and reporting

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
• Experience completing reconciliations, VAT returns and payroll processing
• Knowledge of CIS payments
• Good Excel and general IT skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
