Job Title: TandD Test Technician Contract: 6 Months (Minimum) Hourly Rate: To be Discussed Location: Silverstone PURPOSE To support rig build, maintenance and operation of equipment under your function area of the TandD department or others areas of the TandD workshop as needed. Primary ResponsibilitiesTo work with your relevant Test Engineers, TandD Design Engineers and the Project Engineers to understand the requirements of rig build and operation work assigned to you.To use and update the job list, deadlines and deliverables for your test work to ensure that all objectives and test requirements are met on time.To understand assembly drawings and the nature of the car components to ensure correct assembly.To understand responsibilities within the function area and of the wider group.To provide feedback and suggestions for the design of new equipment and test rigs.To suggest improvements for methods for capturing data.To assist with strategic improvements in test methods, instrumentation and processes to improve test efficiency and data quality.To regularly feedback progress on your work to your Lead Engineer and Test Manager, confirming successful completions and highlighting risk areas or concerns as early as possible.To attend and participate in meetings as required.To contribute to the creation of workshop documentation in the form of processes, risk assessments and new starter guides.To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain thorough and
