This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of site safety, facilities standards, and compliance within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment.Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will ensure the site remains safe, efficient, well maintained, and fully compliant. This role would suit someone who enjoys being visible on site, solving practical problems, improving systems, and creating a positive safety culture across both workshop and office areas.Your new role:You will take the lead on all health, safety, and environmental compliance across the business.Develop, implement, and maintain practical HandS policies and procedures in line with UK legislation.Carry out and review risk assessments, method statements, and site safety documentation.Keep accurate HandS records and ensure documentation is organised, up to date, and audit-ready.Support managers and supervisors in promoting a proactive, safety-first approach on the shop floor.Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and standards across the site.Carry out internal audits, inspections, and compliance checks to maintain high standards.Act as the main contact for external inspections, insurers, auditors, and relevant authorities.Maintain compliance registers, including ..... full job details .....
