The firm is seeking an experienced
Sales Director
with a strong background in
financial products sales
to join its London office. The successful candidate will drive commercial growth by originating fundraising mandates from GPs and distributing them to LPs, while also expanding the firm’s institutional investor network across the UK, Europe, and beyond. This is a senior client-facing role requiring proven ability to sell complex financial products to sophisticated investors.Key Responsibilities
Lead sales efforts for private markets fundraising and secondary solutions.Originate new mandates from
GP
clients (private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real assets).Distribute investment opportunities to
LPs
including pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, consultants, family offices, and endowments.Develop and execute a coverage strategy for institutional investors across the UK and Europe, with scope for global relationships.Deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and investor meetings that clearly articulate the value proposition.Build long-term relationships with decision-makers at both GPs and LPs.Collaborate closely with client management and execution teams to ensure seamless delivery of fundraising processes.Track sales pipeline, investor feedback, and fundraising outcomes, reporting regularly to senior management.Candidate Profile
10–15 years of experience
in financial products sales, fundraising, or institutional distribution.Proven track record of raising capital or distributing investment products to institutional investors.Strong network of
LPs
(pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, consultants, family offices) in the UK and Europe; global relationships highly desirable.Experience partnering with
GPs
on fundraising origination and strategy.Deep understanding of private markets (private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets) or complex alternative investments.Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills.Entrepreneurial and results-oriented, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in
English
required; additional European languages a plus.Strong academic credentials in finance, economics, business, or related field.Seniority level
