This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, delivering accurate and timely reporting, driving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.Day-to-day of the role:Financial Management and ReportingLead the weekly, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to deadlines (IFRS/USGAAP).Produce timely management accounts, financial statements, and performance dashboards.Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and internal controls.Produce accurate budgets and forecasts.Commercial Finance and Business PartneringPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing to support decision-making and improve profitability.Provide insights into cost trends, margin performance, and profitability by product, project, or business unit.Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.Cost Control and Operational EfficiencyDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.Lead cost-saving initiatives and support operational optimisation across the depot.Cashflow and TreasuryManage cashflow forecasting and maintain the primary contact
