Pastoral Support Officer

Location: Oldham
Start date: ASAP / After Easter
Contract: Full-time, term time

TimePlan Education is seeking an approachable and proactive Pastoral Support Officer to join a secondary school with a strong focus on student wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in mentoring, safeguarding or behaviour support.

As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will:

• Work with students who need help with attendance, behaviour or wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.
• Support safeguarding, early intervention and behaviour strategies.
• Work alongside the pastoral team to promote engagement and success.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience supporting young people in a school, PRU or pastoral role.
• Be calm, firm and able to build trust quickly.
• Be committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable students.
