You will implement information security strategy to ensure the organisations security evolves in line with every-changing threats and regulatory requirements.The Information Security Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure security controls are functioning effectively across the business, conducting comprehensive risk assessments.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves.Key deliverables:-Implement information security strategy to ensure controls are matured and effectively designed to address present and future cyber threats, as well as regulatory requirementsStrong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies and policiesAbility to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience required:-Previous experience working in the Financial Services industry, preferably Insurance is essentialPrevious management experience in an Information Security roleExperience working with Cyber Essentials, GDPR and preferably DORA, ISO27001/NIST CSFExperience working in a regulated industry - financial/pharmaceutical - large volumes of dataExperience working with auditors or regulatorsHybrid working - 2 days a week onsite
