Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of the nursery, lead and develop the team, and help deliver high-quality Early Years education and care.Key Responsibilities Support the Nursery Manager with the daily running and operational leadership of the nursery. Help ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding and statutory requirements. Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), supporting safeguarding practice and reporting. Promote a high-quality EYFS curriculum, inclusive practice and effective SEND provision. Lead learning walks, quality audits and continuous improvement activities. Support staff recruitment, induction, supervision, mentoring and professional development. Organise staff rotas and cover, ensuring statutory ratios are maintained.
