A position for a Trade Parts Advisor has become available within a reputable automotive dealership located in Basildon, Essex. Our client seeks an experienced individual to join their busy parts department, offering a rewarding career opportunity within the motor trade sector. This full-time, permanent role provides a combination of sales and customer service responsibilities in a professional and supportive environment.

• Competitive basic salary of £27,500 per annum
• Realistic on-target earnings between £38,000 and £40,000
• Working hours from Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 5.30pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8am - 1pm

Duties of the Trade Parts Advisor:

• Handle trade and retail parts enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Process orders accurately and swiftly
• Upsell parts to maximise sales and revenue
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Manage stock levels effectively to ensure availability
• Support the parts team with daily operational tasks
• Contribute to departmental sales targets and customer service standards

Requirements of the Trade Parts Advisor:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Trade Parts Advisor or a Parts Advisor
• Strong understanding of automotive parts and parts department operations
• Sales-driven with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
• Experience with Kerridge or Keyloop systems is advantageous
• Ability to perform confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with a professional approach
