Chartered Building Surveyor
South East London

We are working with a highly respected property consultancy in South East London, looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS Building Surveyor, including those who have recently achieved chartership, to join a consultancy offering a varied workload across building surveying and project delivery, with a strong focus on the residential sector. Experience in fire safety and compliance work would be a significant advantage.

The Role
You''ll be involved in a diverse range of professional and project based work, including:

• Building and condition surveys
• Residential building surveying
• Refurbishment and improvement projects
• Planned maintenance and repair programmes
• Defect diagnosis and technical advice
• Project management from inception through to completion
• Preparation of specifications, schedules and tender documentation
• Fire safety related surveying and projects

About You
We are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor with strong technical and consultancy experience.
You''ll ideally have:

• MRICS qualification in Building Surveying
• Previous experience within a property or surveying consultancy
• Experience working within the residential sector
• The ability to independently manage instructions and deliver projects
• Strong technical report writing and client facing skills
• Good commercial awareness and the ability to manage your own workload
• Fire safety experience would be highly desirable

This would suit a technically strong surveyor who enjoys getting involved in the detail of projects and professional instructions.
