The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Tractor units, Rigids, Vans and Trailers.Salary: £39,520 / £19ph; OTE: £48,000 (OTE based on total average earnings of Technicians in the garage over a 3-month period).Hours of work: Monday to Friday; 6:00am 14:30pm and 10:00am 18:30pm alternating weeks.Overtime available.Responsibilities:Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of Tractor units, Rigids, Vans and Trailers.Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation.Overhaul electrical equipment and components.Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment.Welding and metal working.Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation.Parts ordering and stores management.Support team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs.Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed.Qualifications:Qualified to NVQ ..... full job details .....
